BOULDER, Colo. (KDVR) - Thousands of fans, some in black and gold and others in green and gold, flooded Boulder on Saturday for the big Colorado rivalry. "It’s a state thing. We've battled it out for years and we’re finally back on campuses," one Colorado State University fan said. If you walked around to tailgating locations on campus leading up to the big game, it was clear there were more University of Colorado fans. "I never thought one man could rejuvenate a program and bring back a community that was apathetic about football," one CU Buffs fan said. Are Colorado sports on a winning streak? AURORA, Colo. (KDVR) -- A motorcyclist died after a crash with a SUV in Aurora Saturday morning, according to police.The man driving the motorcycle and heading westbound on East Iliff Avenue crashed with a Honda SUV driving southbound on South Quintero Street after 10 a.m. According to a release, the motorcyclist ran the red light when the crash occurred. Police are searching for a man who, they said, robbed and pistol-whipped a woman visiting a shopping plaza in Hialeah.Hialeah Police and Fire Rescue units responded to the scene of the robbery in the area of West 28th Avenue and 78th Street, Saturday afternoon.According to detectives, the victim was attacked in broad daylight, at around 2 p.m.“She kind of got ambushed and held at gunpoint,” said Phillip Coward, who works nearby.Paramedics transported the woman to an area hospital.Back at the scene, 7News cameras captured crime scene investigators as they surrounded the parking lot of the shopping plaza. A man has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing at an apartment building in Toronto’s west end.Officers were called to a building near South Kingsway and Ormskirk Avenue, north of The Queensway, around 10:30 p.m. Saturday.Police say a man was found with stab wounds and was taken to hospital by paramedics. BRUSSELS (AP) — Belgian Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said on Friday that he will seek the help of government experts on extremism in the wake of a series of school arsons. Officials believe the attacks are connected to a controversial sexual education school program.De Croo spoke just hours after a sixth school in the French-speaking Wallonia region was torched this week. CHICAGO — The Chicago Police Department sent out a community alert Friday evening warning the public about a half-dozen carjackings and armed robberies that happened in less than 45 minutes across the City's West-to-Northwest Side.Police said across the six incidents, a group of people jumped out of a dark colored or black Infiniti SUV and approached victims with guns drawn before demanding their belongings.
