ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — No. 2 Michigan is building momentum, following up a 45-7 win over Nebraska with a 52-10 rout of Minnesota last week.“Feel like we can keep on that trajectory,” coach Jim Harbaugh said. “It’s very good to come out of that game seeing the evidence that the team is improving.”The Wolverines (6-0, 3-0 Big Ten) have won won 18 consecutive conference games, one short of the program record set from 1990 to 1992. They have taken advantage of a soft schedule by winning each game by at least 24 points.Michigan is not expected to slow down Saturday at home against Indiana (2-3, 0-2) in a game it is favored to win by nearly five touchdowns.CHANGING DIRECTIONSIndiana coach Tom Allen saw enough from his stagnant offense that on the first day of the bye week he fired coordinator Walt Bell and promoted Rod Carey from quality control coach to play-caller nearly two weeks ago. Carey, a former head coach at Northern Illinois and Temple, has promised he will make changes.“...Top-ranked Georgia looking to stay perfect visiting struggling Vanderbilt

NEW YORK (AP) — Federal regulators fined credit-reporting agency TransUnion a total of $23 million for tenant screening and security freeze failures on Thursday. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Trade Commission fined TransUnion $15 million because the company did not take steps to ensure the rental background checks that landlords use to decide who gets housing were accurate. TransUnion told tens of thousands of consumers their requests were completed when, in reality, the requests were dumped into a yearslong backlog. “Americans across the country were put at risk of wrongful housing denials because TransUnion failed to follow the law,” said CFPB Director Rohit Chopra. “We are ordering TransUnion to cease its yearslong illegal activity, clean up its broken business practices, redress its victims, and pay penal...No. 25 Miami aims to move past its shocking loss to Georgia Tech when it visits No. 12 UNC

The 25th-ranked Hurricanes are ready to play, too, just to move past a jaw-dropping loss. The game was nearly a matchup of unbeaten teams before Miami (4-1, 0-1 ACC) lost to Georgia Tech after an improbable sequence of events. There was the Hurricanes losing a fumble in the final minute on a running play instead of taking a knee to kill clock, then surrendering the go-ahead touchdown with 1 second left on a long pass play.Coach Mario Cristobal has taken the blame for not calling a kneeldown. The Hurricanes have since tried to move forward.“That’s the only choice that we have in this program,” Cristobal said. “That’s something I think is important for us here at Miami, the ability to bounce back strong, to make that tradition again.
